Easy Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon (or more) white wine
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium/low heat and whisk in sour cream.
- Add cream cheese, whisking until thickened and smooth.
- Add Parmesan cheese and garlic, stirring until cheese melts.
- Thin sauce as desired with white wine.
- Serve over pasta or vegetables.
- Makes about 1 & 1/2 cups.
