If these words make you sick (literally), you may be one of the many customers who attended the Gluten Free event in our Natural Foods department last month. August 21st was a great day for Celiacs here at Jungle Jim's. We had five gluten-free vendors here to sample out their wares and offer more food choices to Celiacs. Check out the photos and you can see how happy people were to taste the donut holes, blueberry muffins, breaded chicken, breads, cookies and even sauces; some for the first time. One customer was almost in tears (really), because she hadn't had a donut in 20 years. That’s why we carry gluten-free, salt-free, low carb, sugar-free and other specialty diet products. Customers are important to Jungle Jim, and he wants to make sure everyone can get the food they need. Here's a list of the gluten-free companies from the event along with what was sampled:
