4711 Cologne
We also have the famous 4711 Cologne which was actually named by Napoleon. Back during the war, Napoleon didn’t speak German, so he numbered all the buildings. Number 4711 in Cologne, Germany was the building where perfume makers made their cologne. People got to know the cologne by the building number, and it stuck.
