Our Asian Food section at Jungle Jim's International Market represents nine countries and one state. Did you get that; nine countries and one state! In alphabetical order, we offer you foods and more from China, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thai and Vietnam.

Making up eight shopping aisles along with frozen and refrigerated cases, Asia is one of our largest international departments. We have everything from soy sauce to rice vinegar to dried squid to kim chee and cans of caterpillars. If you're looking for soy sauce, you have a few brands to choose from. Ok, so you have at least 6 brands to choose from. Pearl River Bridge is the sauce of choice in our Cooking School. Other favorites are Lee Kum Kee and Koon Chun. But if you prefer a different brand, please come in and look around. We also have Sushi Chef, Yamasa and the American standby, Kikkoman.

Along with the Asian food offerings, we also have dinnerware and cooking pots and utensils. Rice bowls, Sake sets, Asian tea sets and serving plates are located on the right side of Gourmet Galeria along with woks, sushi boards and bamboo steamers. There are lots of products you might want to try. Panko Bread Crumbs are the latest craze for gourmet cooks and chefs. They are larger than American bread crumbs and look to be shavings instead of crumbs. When used as a breading, the end result is much crispier than using bread crumbs. They are excellent for fried chicken!
