I can only imagine that the crowds this year will only be larger. After about 3 years, you may have to expand the size of the Oscar Event Center to accommodate everyone Brett! - Lars, Csigi Chili Sauce It was set up to meet the needs of both the vendors and the customers. The advertisements were good too, notices were sent out in plenty of time. It was nice to have a smaller venue than some of the larger shows, didn't seem as hectic. The customers seemed to enjoy this type of show as well. From a female viewpoint the bathrooms in the Oscar Arena were regal and plush. Redd-Eye Brand is really looking forward to the next one. For us, it was even better, we have family in Ohio and they were able to come and visit us while attending the great show. See you there!! - Red-Eye Brand Salsas The Weekend of Fire at Jungle Jim’s was our first ever food show and it was fantastic. From the first day of working with Bret selecting our booth space to the day we packed up & left, everything was first rate! Bret and the entire team went over and above making us feel welcome, answering all our questions, and even volunteering ideas on set-up and displays. Bret introduced us to many new people and I now buy some sauces from a hot sauce company I met at the show! Oscar’s Event Center is a great facility, beautiful, clean and very well designed. There were plenty of trolleys, hand carts, and trash bins available. The crew also cleaned up constantly, and the area was always fresh and clean looking. I think that the event was well publicized and had great attendance, especially for the first ever show. I am looking forward to the 2008 show and even bigger crowds. Thanks for helping us grow! - John Whaley, President Scoville Food Institute << Back to Weekend Of Fire |
