The cooking classes at Jungle Jim's International Market are as much fun as they are educational! We always provide a light-hearted look at cooking through our entertaining and informative classes. Relax in our state-of-the-art classroom complete with an overhead mirror for easy viewing. Along with our spacious, fully-equipped professional facility, our staff of talented instructors will teach you all you need to know about techniques, equipment and ingredients. There are several categories of classes from which you can choose:

Tired of the same old ideas for meetings, team building, reunions and parties? Need a new place for get-togethers with co-workers, family and friends? Schedule a Private Cooking Class designed just for you and your group! Enjoy the experience of this instructive and social event!

All classes are taught by demonstration unless specifically stated as a “hands-on” class. During “hands on” classes, students participate in preparing the dishes. This is a great way to try the different techniques and make the recipes. An apron and equipment will be provided for your use – please wear closed-toe shoes.

Enrollment in our classes is on a first-come, first-serve basis so please register early. When you arrive, take a minute to check in. Then choose your chair at the ‘bar’ or one of the tables. A copy of the recipes is at each seat, so you can take them home and recreate the great dishes you try in class. At each class, you will receive a generous sampling of all the dishes prepared...this is one of the best parts of the class! Help yourself to complimentary coffee or tea before and during class and don’t be afraid to ask questions, we want you to leave the class with a good understanding of the recipes.
