Who teaches the classes?
The Cooking School’s own instructors or visiting instructors. The instructor will be noted in the class description.

How should I dress for class?
Dress casually. Please wear closed-toe shoes to all our hands-on classes.

When should I arrive for class?
Seating is done on a first come, first seated basis.

Will you mail my ticket to me?
No, there are no tickets for the classes. If you order online you can bring you email conformation or just check in when you arrive. We have a list of everyone attending.

How much will I get to sample during class?
You will be served an ample portion of each menu item.

Do your classes include beverages?
Yes, you can help yourself to complementary coffee or tea before and during the class. Most menus include 2-3 wine pours. Our Wine and Beer food pairing classes feature specially selected wine and beer listed in the class description.

Can I buy the equipment and tools used during class?
Yes. All Cooking School students will receive a 10% discount coupon during class which is valid for seven days on entire purchase of items located in the Gourmet Galeria downstairs in Jungle Jim’s.

Can I schedule a private cooking lesson or have a party or team-building event in The Cooking School?
Yes. We love hosting private events. Please call the cooking school for more information: 513-674-6059.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?
Students may cancel registrations up to 7 days prior to the day of class. After that deadline, no refunds or credit will be issued. You may send a substitute. For registering three or more people for a class, a 14 day notice is required for canceling out of a class. This is the amount of time needed to find replacements for the class. After this deadline, no refunds or credits will be issued. When a refund is issued, students who pay in cash or check will receive a refund check. Those paying by credit card will be issued a credit towards their account.

What if class is cancelled due to weather?
We will call you as soon as the cancellation decision has been made. We list our weather cancellations on Channel 12 and Channel 9.
