Some days there are a few cherished, quiet moments around the Jungle, but most of
the time the pace is quick and sometimes hard to keep up with. Here we will be updating
you on the new changes at Jungle Jim's as they happen, replacing the 'old' new items
as needed. Anything from new construction projects and retail outlets, and new products
and services to community achievements and awards bestowed upon our humble, honorable
and fearless leader, Jungle Jim and his International Market, Event Center and Shopping
Plaza. Keep coming back to see 'What's New' in the Jungle.
Add your cans to ours as we try for the world’s record for cans of food collected at one time!
Jungle Jim’s is working with Sysco Corp. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 to collect food for Shared Harvest in Fairfield, OH. We will have a large truck in our parking lot to collect food and there will be volunteers hanging around to encourage you.
Drop off your canned food (or bags of rice, etc.) in the watermelon containers located on your way out of the main exit at Jungle Jim’s.
Jungle Jim’s Brewery Bus Trip
Thanks to Cavalier Distributing and Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Co., our first Jungle Jim’s Brewery Bus Trip was a great success! All 100 people attending had a great time and have been converted to huge fans!
The hospitality of Alltech Lexington Brewery for the great lunch and brewery tour was unmatched. And the generosity of Cavalier Distributing for their $3000 donation to One Way Farm was a great gift! We all really appreciate these companies for their contributions to the success of the trip.

Stone Brewing Company Tasting
A Huge Success!
What an event! Over 500 people came out for the Beer Tasting of the Year, trying 10 beers by Stone Brewing Company and to enjoy the antics of owner, Greg Koch.
Greg Koch was stoked! We really want to thank Greg for all he did to add to the success of the event! He made the tasting fun and educational, entertaining the crowd as he went.
Jungle Jim's is proud of the partnership we have with the breweries. The relationships help us to produce the best tastings and beer festival, and offer the biggest variety of retail products available.
Our relationship with One Way Farm is also strengthened by our events as proceeds from our auctions are given to further their mission to help children. The Stone Brewing Company Tasting raised over $1100 for One Way Farm.
Thanks to everyone who came out, had fun and participated in the event! We had a great time and hope you are all planning to be back next year.

Classy Flea Market
Another new department? But of course; and you know this won't be the last department
to be created here. Jungle is always thinking, and with those thoughts come lots
of new ideas for the store.
The Classy Flea is one of the latest ideas from Jungle. This is the place where
we sell all the extras; the leftovers; the great buys we get. We are always looking
for great deals for our customers and now we have a place to put theml. Look right
inside the Garden Center and you'll see everything we have to offer for special
prices. You can stop here every time you shop because the products will change as
we get more items in.
As it gets closer to Christmas and the Holidays, you'll be able to watch our Gift
Basket Department in full gear. Just look past the Classy Flea items to see our
'Jungle Elves' busily working on gifts we ship all over the United States. (Hmm,
that reminds me of someone). We love this time of year, and hope just browsing through
our store brightens your days.
Gold Customers
What's New this week are the Gold Customers greeting you at our main entrance. Just
look by the shopping carts for 4 smiling faces. Brenda, David, Lori and Shayne are
there to welcome you to Jungle Jim's!
How can you become a Gold Customer? Just shop here. We'll go to the main entrance
every once and awhile to take new photos, for which there is no there is no scheduled
time. (This is Jungle Jim's and we're not so good with schedules). We are going
to add to the display to make it more 'eye-catching', so keep watching to see what
happens next!
Largest Gluten-Free Shop in the Midwest
Natural Foods had a major department change this week. We made it much easier to
find the gluten free items, and if you have Celiac disease or know someone who does,
you’ll be able to find many more products you can eat.
Based on the Celiac groups in OH, IN and KY, Jungle Jim’s now has the largest selection
of gluten free items in our part of the Midwest! So come in this Friday from 11-4
for our ‘grand opening’. Sample gluten free foods and roam the Natural Foods aisles
for your favorite comfort foods – gluten free!
