Job Description
Jungle Jim’s International Market is looking for a person that is a skilled Artisan Baker looking to be a Head Baker.
Our Bakery Department is growing and we would like to strengthen it's strong, talented staff. We are now taking resumes for a person that can perform a variety of tasks related to the Artisan Bread industry. The applicant must have three years of artisan baking experience. Some other tasks will include product and department merchandising, staff issues and efficient department and baking operation procedures. This individual must be able to work flexible hours that include, day, night and weekend hours. You must be able to lead and work and communicate well with the staff.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the baking industry
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to work with either individuals or groups
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Able to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills
- Read and write in the English language
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic problems
- Able to adapt to changes easily and quickly
- Able to comply with Company and governmental rules and regulations
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to use the Metric System
